Shirley Faye Mace was born in Ambridge, Pennsylvania on August 29,1927 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the age of 94 years. Shirley was the daughter of William Floyd and Bertha Mae Schmeling. She was a resident of Tulsa most of her life. She worked as a Draftsman in the Oil industry. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tulsa. Shirley married Glenn Eugene Mace on March 5, 1953. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Gregory Glenn, Michael Sterling; one sister, Colleen Petree; two brothers, William Floyd, Charles John. Survivors include one sister-in-law, Guadalupe Schmeling; three nieces, Laura Hall and husband Dennis Hall of Tulsa, Debbie Kirwin and husband Tim of Colorado, Julie Schmeling of Tulsa; one nephew, Charles Eugene Schmeling of Tulsa; as well as numerous great and great-great-nieces and nephews; special friends, Robyn Montesdeoca, Earestine Hasstrup, Shelby McDonald, Angle Lance. She was well loved and will be deeply missed.
