Shirley Anne Floyd Mapes died peacefully on Saturday, June 20th, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 77.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Clyde Mapes and children, Hal Clark, Teesha Kolczun and Helen Virnelson; siblings, Harold Floyd, Allene White, Hazel Coleman and Charles Floyd; grandchildren, Katie Kolczun, Matthew Clark, Danielle Blackgrave, Lindsay Clark, Victoria Rivas, Alexandra Latham, Angelica Latham, and William Latham; great-grandchildren, Iris Blackgrave, Lydia Blackgrave, Leita Clark, Charlotte Clark, Bailey Clark and Julian Rivas. Shirley is preceded in death by her mother Helen Floyd, her father Charlie Floyd, and her brother David Floyd.

Shirley was born on July 1, 193? in Macon, NC to Charlie and Helen Floyd. She graduated from Oscar Smith High School in Norfolk, VA in 1955. Shirley was always a hard worker and still worked part time at Montereau Assisted Living Facility in Tulsa as a Concierge in the Health Center at the time of her death. Her biggest love in life was to spend time with family.

A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, July 11th at 2:00 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home, 9350 East 51 st Street, Tulsa, OK. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Shirley's life. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
