Shirley Doylene Maxwell, 75, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born to Doyle Eugene and Wandra Jean (Carter) Cloud on May 7, 1947 in Russellville, Arkansas.

Shirley was married to Thomas Maxwell for 50 years and they raised 5 children. She loved to play bingo and often carried her Betty Boop bag with her. Shirley loved country music, especially when her father and brother, Mike would get together and play for family and friends. She and Thomas loved their family and always looked forward to having family over for the holidays to have dinner and entertain. She would often have this big smile on her face as a result of Thomas entertaining the grandchildren and great grandchildren with his silly collection of hats.

Shirley will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas and son, Kenneth.

Shirley is survived by her children: Jimmy Lee Maxwell, George Gene Maxwell, Pamela Gene Hess and Kimberly Ann Maxwell; grandchildren: Dusty Maxwell, Shannon Maxwell, Randy Hess, Veronica Hess, Arbry Maxwell, Zak Maxwell, CJ Maxwell, Andrew Thomas Maxwell, Anthony Kenley Maxwell, Jesse Maxwell, Kime Rugue and Grib Maxwell; eleven great grandchildren; brother: Michael Cloud; and cousin: Mary Ellen Thomas.
