Shirley D. ( Til ) Kohley was born on November 1, 1935 in Chicago Heights Illinois. She was the daughter of Andrew and Dorothy Kohley Johnson. Til spent 16 years in the Philippines with Wycliff Bible Translators as a missionary, When she moved back to the U.S she spent 7 years at the Wycliff Headquarters as the head of the accounting department and then she moved to North Carolina where she went to work with JAARS ( Jungle Aviation and Radio) which is a part of Wycliff, she was the manager of inventory for the aviation department. Til retired to the Go Ye Village retirement community in Tahlequah where she volunteered for many different jobs. Til passed this life to her heavenly home on December 31, 2016 after a head injury due to a fall at her home. She will be missed by all her friends and family. A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Go Ye Village Chapel, 1201 W 4th St, Tahlequah, OK.
