Obituary

Silver E Cook of Beggs, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2018 at 12:30am. At 85 years young she had a full and happy life. She was born on June 20, 1932 in Memphis, Tennessee.

She was the first of four children born to Verne & Lavone Purkey. Her family moved to Fostoria, Ohio that winter. She graduated Fostoria High Class of 1950. She married Charles Glaser in 1951 and they had four children; Charles David, Steven, Kathleen and Timothy. In 1982 Silver moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend Victory Bible College. While going through Victory Missions Training she was the proud owner and operator of the Homestead Restaurant in Jenks, OK from the late 1980's to the early 2000's. She graduated and started a ministry in Uganda, Africa, which is still thriving today.

She is survived by her brothers, Verne Purkey & Edward Purkey, four children, Dave, Steve, Kathy, Tim, her 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 5:00 P.M., Friday, January 19, 2018 at Victory Christian Center, 7700 S. Lewis, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
