Stanley Thomas Geiger died in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 27, 2019.
Born February 27, 1958 in Dearborn, Michigan to Zena Mae and Richard Lewis Geiger, Stan spent most of his life in Tulsa. He graduated from Central High in 1976 where he was crowned King Daze. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Economics, and later received a paralegal degree from Tulsa Community College.
Stan was famous for his towering height and his wicked sense of humor - delighting in gifting his nieces with pranks and novelties each Christmas, and always ready with a joke. He also possessed a keen love for politics, writing a political blog for many years, and even running for mayor of Tulsa in 1994.
Stan is survived by a sister and brother-in-law Pamela G. and Thomas H. Shepard, three nieces Melanie (Jacob) Stephens, Emily (Mark) Minelli, Amanda (Chris) Malley, two grand nieces, three grand nephews, and cousins Jim (Diana) McPhail and Janice (Joe) Wilburn.
He is preceded in death by his mother Zena M. Geiger, aunt and uncle Flo and John McPhail, and cousins John McPhail, Jane McPhail Kenyon, and Jerry McPhail.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 1, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
