Obituary

On December 7th, 1963, a baby boy was born to Elnora Lightner in Kansas City Mo. She would name her son Stanley Demuriel Lightner. Stanley would move to Haskell, Ok in the care of Mr. and Mrs. William Walker. He then transitioned to Muskogee, Ok to continue his childhood in the care of Joe and Pauline Brunner. Stanley accepted Christ at an early age and attended Fountain Baptist Church. Stanley Attended the Muskogee School System, where he was involved in basketball, football, and track and field and graduated Class of 1982.

Stanley was blessed with a perfectionist's work ethic, from building model cars, to being employed in the automotive industry. He was a perfectionist in everything he set out to accomplish; this perfectionism was further shown in the choosing of a wonderful and loving wife that he met in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Willie Mae Wallace (Puddin), on May 22, 1987. From this union, their "one and only child" Stanley Demuriel Lightner II was born. As a family, they attended St. John A. M. E. Church.

Preceding him in death was his Mother, Father and sister in law: Billie Ray Green.

Stanley leaves to cherish his moments in life, his wife: Willie Mae Lightner; son: Stanley Demuriel Lightner II; granddaughter: Demurielle Lightner (Papa Sweet Baby); brother: Reginald (Reggie) Brunner; sisters: Lisa Savage "Lil' Shotgun" (Cordell), Teresa Lightner, LaDawn Brunner; Great Aunt: Lucille Morris; father in law: Nelson Wallace II; mother in law: Gloria Wallace; brothers in law: Kevin Wallace, Timothy Wallace (Erma), Keith Wallace, Nelson Wallace III (Janea), Lamont Green (Laura); sisters in law: Gina Figures, Norma Jean Green; cousins: Princes Lightner, Tony Masters and LaCresha London.
