Obituary

Stanley Walter Rapp, son of Walter and Minnie Rapp was born April 29, 1938 four miles west of Rockville, MO. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Prairie City, MO. He graduated from Rich Hill High School in 1956. After high school he went to work for Great Lakes Pipe Line Co. in Kansas City, MO. Stan was united in marriage to Barbara Brown on June 12, 1965 at Zion Lutheran Church in Prairie City, MO. Stan and Barbara made their home in Raytown, MO. In 1967 Stan was transferred to Williams Pipe Line Co. in Tulsa, OK. The Lord blessed this union with a son in 1969, Thomas Alan Rapp. Stan retired from Williams in 1998 after 42 years of service. He was a Sr. Buyer in the Purchasing Dept. Stan and his family have been members of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Tulsa, OK since 1967 where he served as an usher for a number of years. Stan was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister Virginia. Also, he was preceded by his wife Barbara who passed in 2017. Stan passed away Sunday, January 21st, 2018 at the age of 79. He leaves to mourn his departure: son; Tom Rapp and wife Janie of Sand Springs, OK, granddaughter; Ally Rapp of Sapulpa, OK, bonus grandchildren; Noel, Aubrey and Bailey, bonus great grand children; Gracie, Hunter and Chanler, brother; Kenneth Rapp and wife Dee of Rockville, MO.
