Stephen Comtois, 70, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019, at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, March 2, 1949, in Manhattan, NY, to Henry Comtois and Helen (Nugent) Comtois. Stephen was married to Susan (Kelley) Comtois on May 6, 2000, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Tulsa, OK, where he was a member. He was a Systems Developer for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of OK, enjoyed exercising and staying fit, watching sports, and playing games with his family. Stephen is survived by his wife; his two daughters, Christine Riesenweber and husband, Jacob of WA, and Katherine Ridley and husband, Daniel of Denton, TX; two stepsons, Justin Susmilch of Dallas, TX, and Thomas Hess and wife, Lexie of Tulsa, OK; two stepdaughters, Carrie King and husband, Michael of Ft. Worth, TX, and Kelley Crouch and husband, Joel of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren; brother, David Comtois and wife, Kathy of Seattle, WA; nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Stephen will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
