Stephen Craig Conley (45) passed away Saturday, October, 2 2021, at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born January 10, 1976 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Wesley and Shirley McCrackin Conley.
Stephen graduated from Bishop Kelly High School, attended Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado, and graduated from Northeastern State University with his Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries. After college, he worked in the field of water quality in Yellowstone National Park and Whitefish, Montana. He returned to Oklahoma and spent time working at the Tulsa Aquarium. He continued his career working as a chemist for C.P. Kelco in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Stephen had a passion for music and he loved to attend concerts around the country where his favorite groups played. He also played the guitar and banjo. He was an Eagle Scout, who loved the outdoors, and enjoyed camping, fly fishing, and hiking. He had a love for gardening and excelled at growing everything.
Stephen had a deep faith in Christ and a compassionate heart for helping anyone in need. Everyone who knew Stephen knew that his great love was his two chocolate labs, Digby and Ophelia. He will surely be missed by both of them.
Stephen is survived by his parents, Wes and Shirley; his brother Scott Conley; nephew Holden Conley; niece Emilia Conley; uncles Jerry Conley and Lloyd McCrackin.
Viewing will be 12PM-8PM, Friday, October 8, 2021 with family receiving friends from 5PM-7PM at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 East 91st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be 11AM, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 East 91st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
