Stephen Drew Jackson was born December 8, 1984 to Bud and Sherry Jackson in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a premature baby and spent the first month and a half of his life in the EOPC at Saint Francis Hospital. He died, tragically, on September 3, 2022, the victim of a hit-and-run.

Drew graduated from Memorial High School in 2003. He was preceded in death by his dad, Bud; his grandfathers, Jeff Muskrat and Jim Buzzard; grandfather and grandmother, Mack and Anna Jackson. He is survived by his mother, Sherry, and his younger brother, Ben; his grandmothers, Imogene Muskrat and Beverly Buzzard; aunts and uncles, Judy and David Tinney, Doug and Karen Buzzard, Derrel Buzzard, Alyssa and Keith Glenn, Christina Irion; Shannon and Steve Huffman, numerous cousins and friends and beloved dog, Pudge.

Drew and his dad loved to watch sports together; Drew, the Georgia Bulldogs; Bud, the LSU Tigers. Game days started off by Drew getting a crockpot of queso going and then settling into that sweet spot on his favorite sofa, followed by lots of hoopin' and hollerin'. Such a good memory. They also shared a passion for music and movies--Jim carey and Tyler Perry ones come to mind--and could dance and sing like nobody else.

Drew cherished his old friends at Memorial and if you knew him, you would remember his sweet, sweet smile, big laugh and "bear hugs" that matched his big heart.

Thank you, Lord, for the time we had with him. Our hearts are broken, but our trust is in You for the comfort, peace and joy You always provide.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Woodland Acres Baptist Church, Tulsa, OK.
