Stephen Alonzo Johnson was born in Bakersfield, CA on July 28, 1941. Steve passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Mills Johnson, his mother Nell Johnson as well as, his sister, Linda Huey. Steve is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jodye Ferguson Johnson, daughter, Stephanie Johnson and her daughters, Madison and Brooke, and son, Derek Johnson and wife Sheryl, their sons Grant and Pierce, and Steve's older brother, Gary Johnson. He also cherished his step-daughter Tori Rimmer and her husband Jeff and their sons.

Steve graduated from Pryor High School and was an all-state football halfback. From there he went to Tulsa University and played football on scholarship. He met his wife, Jodye in Tulsa and they enjoyed a long career in real estate as owners of Johnson Company Realtors.

Steve was a passionate family man and loved supporting his children's (and grandchildren's) athletic endeavors, especially Stephanie's track and Pom Pom squad and Derek's football and track and field events. Steve was known to all for his groundbreaking videography that all enjoyed seeing and hearing the music he produced.

A true renaissance man, Steve was an excellent cook and nobody beat his ribs, pecan pies, pralines and caramel corn. He loved his dogs Wheatie, Buddy, and Lily.

Later in life, Steve enjoyed his time at the "Alzheimer's Club" and made new friendships he cherished.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 5-7pm at Moore Southlawn Funeral Home at 9350 East 51st Tulsa, OK.
