Stephen Hoyt Miles, 45, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2016 in Broomfield,CO. Born to Jan Hoyt Dameron and Dr. Kelly Miles on October 9, 1970, in Dallas,TX.

Graduated from Union High School (Tulsa, OK) in 1989 and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in French from Kansas University in 1993. He was a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and served as President his senior year. Earned a Masters in International Economics from Denver University in 1995. Received a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems from The University of Colorado-Denver in 2011.

For most of his career, he worked in telecommunications and was working for Zayo Group as a Fiber Engineer at the time of his death. He enjoyed sports and skating on an ice hockey team.

Pre-deceased by his grandparents, Fred L and Helen Myers Hoyt and Verdie and Beth Vaught Miles; Aunt and Uncle Vivien and George Birdseye, Uncle Fredrick Hoyt.

Survived by his parents, long-time girlfriend and fiancee, Helene Wieting, his Aunt and Uncle, Maribeth and Larry Shipley, Aunt and Uncle Tracy and Joe Dameron, Cousins, Lisbeth and Stan Alexander, Susan Manchester, Ann and Russ Morton, Christopher Alexander, Andrea Bernardy, Katherine and Chad Marshall, Alex Morton, Madeline and Gerald Ewbanks, Shelley and Kyle Shipley, Erin Shipley, step-siblings Lisa and Steve Trammell and Mary and Ken Dameron.
