Stephen Brent Reynolds, 67, passed away Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born September 23rd, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Joe and Norma Jean (Austin) Reynolds. Stephen graduated from Memorial High School in 1968. In Junior High he was First Chair All City Trumpet player. Stephen was drafted into the United States Army on October 9th, 1970. He served his country during Vietnam from June 30th, 1971 thru June 27th,1972. While serving he was awarded the following metals: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Two Overseas Bars, Purple Heart, Sharp Shooter (M-16 Rifle), Expert (hand grenade), Vietnam Campaign Medal
Stephen worked at Quick Trip, where he met his wife, Debbie, of 38 years. He was hired at the Post Office as a letter carrier supervisor, later becoming the Post Master of Spavinaw, Oklahoma retiring in 2006. Stephen also worked a dream job at Myers-Duren for several years. After leaving Myers-Duren he worked two years at Brookside Motors. He loved being around motorcycles. He enjoyed baseball, football, fishing, and guns. He also enjoyed traveling the countryside on his Harley with his friends, traveling to Colorado, New Mexico, and places all over Oklahoma. He enjoyed visiting his cousin in Jay, Oklahoma where they would enjoy the outdoors and go fishing. Stephen also enjoyed grilling. He became a master griller, cooking all the time, he also enjoyed smoking meats. He would often be found sitting on the porch drinking a beer or two. His greatest accomplishment was quitting smoking! We are so proud of him!
Stephen is survived by his wife Debbie; daughter Rachel Kingsley and her husband Charles, their three children Alexandera, Jacob and; his sister Linda Sumpter and her husband Hank; nephew Joe LaBass and his wife Andrea and their two children Ireland and Zander.
