Stephen Andre Tripodi, Jr., passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2026, leaving behind a footprint of dedicated service, deep technical passion, and a devotion to those surrounding him.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Kimberly, and children, Zachary, Rylie, Stephanie, and Amy; his devoted parents, Stephen Sr. and Denise; his loving siblings (and spouses), Elizabeth (Aeon), Christopher (Jade), Thomas (Jennifer), and Jonathan; and his half-sister, Rebecca. He will be remembered fondly as a loving father, son, brother, and friend.

Stephen was born with a keen mind and an innate curiosity for how things work. He attended Clear Creek High School before he proudly answered the call to serve his country in 2003 by joining the United States Army Reserves. Serving as an Apache helicopter mechanic, he achieved the rank of Specialist 4 and completed notable postings at Ft. Knox and Ft. Eustis. His time in the military reflected his strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude, qualities that defined his character throughout his life.

Following his military discharge, Stephen held various roles over the years, consistently applying his technical talents. Most recently, he served as a Technical IT Administrator for the Municipality of Catoosa, Oklahoma, supporting the Catoosa Police Department. Stephen was held in the highest regard by his colleagues and departmental support staff, who recognized his commitment and excellence by naming him 2025 Employee of the Year.

He will be remembered for fierce loyalty; for his quirks which made him not just noteworthy but memorable; and his staunch support to the Catoosa PD's mission in their community. Beyond his professional life, Stephen was an enthusiastic hobbyist with a lifelong love for computers, most things Sci-Fi, and amateur radio, through which he earned his official amateur radio license.

A celebration of Stephen's life will be held in Webster, Texas, at Clear Lake Church of the Nazarene on September 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The family would like those who cannot attend physically to join virtually via the Church's YouTube channel.
