Stephen Nelson Scott, 83, of Broken Arrow, OK, went to be with the Lord at 3 AM on September 28th, 2016. Stevie was born in Welty, OK on January 14th, 1933 to Vernie and Allie Scott.

He married Cherry June Allen on January 3rd, 1953 in Tulsa, OK. He served in the US Army from 1953-1955 during the Korean Conflict. Steve loved playing golf, cards, and dominos, especially with his family. He served as an elder at Springdale Church of Christ Tulsa and was an active member at Broken Arrow Church of Christ at the time of his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Joe, Earl, Leroy and his sister Lorene Wilkerson. He is survived by his wife of 63 and a half years. His son Brad and wife Linda of Sand Springs, OK; his son Mike and wife Tamra of Johns Creek, GA. His grandchildren Melea Connett, Brittany Scott, Grant Scott, and Katy Coble. And 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Louise Hobbs, and Loretta Marlin and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family suggests contributions may be made to the Mission Fund at Broken Arrow Church of Christ, or Hope Harbor.

Visitation will be 6-8PM, Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Memorial service will be 2:30 P.M., Friday, September 30, 2016 at Broken Arrow Church of Christ, 505 E. Kenosha, St., Broken Arrow, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233.
