Steven was born 1 June 1949 to Frank and Louise Rigney. He is survived by his wife Cynthia and four sons; Michael, Thomas, Christopher and James.

He was a member of an Independent Christian Church.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and spent most of his life working in that field, having only just retired last year.

He spent time volunteering in the prison ministry earlier in his life and later as a counselor at Hope Center.

His hobbies included model building and reading books on history, especially WWII. His model building hobby reflected his interest as most of the ones he built were vehicles from that era. He also had a special love for westerns and old Sci-Fi movies.

He didn't travel much, preferring to stay home where he felt most comfortable.

Viewing will be from 2PM - 8PM, Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral Service will be 1PM, Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Cedar Ridge Christian Church, 4010 West New Orleans Street, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Graveside will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
