Steven Scott Snyder, 70, of Claremore, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023. He was born July 7, 1953 in Bloomington, MN to John Edward and Mary Snyder. Steve enjoyed visiting Ed's Hurricane Lounge, was a Sons of the America Legion and lifetime member of Post 1. He followed the cook-off trail while raising funds through CASI Chili events. He was a Marine, a Chef, Father, Brother, Gramps and friend to everyone. Steve is survived by his son, Shaun Snyder of Claremore; his daughter, Ashly Snyder of Claremore; five grandchildren, Cameron Snyder, Jackson Snyder, Ryne Vance, Fisher Snyder and Emmalynn Snyder; his siblings, Sheri Kelton and husband Greg of Littleton, CO, Jimmy Brejah and wife Dwahna of Tulsa, Nancy Turner of Tulsa, Tucker Snyder of Tulsa and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Roscoe Turner.

Military Rites & Interment: 12:30 pm, Friday, October 20, 2023 Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, OK.
