Steven Matthew Sparks (Matt), 34, beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, passed away on Sunday July 13th, 2014. Matt was born February 7th 1980, in Elk City, Oklahoma. After living abroad in several countries during his childhood due to his father's job, he graduated from High school at the Crested Butte academy in Colorado, and moved to Norman, Oklahoma. He studied Business Administration at Oklahoma University.
He was currently working as a Driller for Helmerich and Payne, posted in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and on his days off, he was living in Bulacan, Phillipines.
Matt was a joy to all of us and was very happy with his life. He was funny, smart and successful, compassionate and generous, he loved and was loved, and life was all ahead of him.
Matt is survived by his parents, Steve and Flory Sparks, his mother Rebecca Hill, his brother Daniel, his grandfather Gerald Sparks, his grandmother Geraldine Geist his aunt Linda Hilliard, his cousins Amber, Doug, Michele, Casey, Kaitlyn and Andrew, his step brother and sister Juan and Maria and his girlfriend Macy. We loved him dearly and will forever miss him.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 23rd at noon, at Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E. 91st St. S. Tulsa, Oklahoma 74137.
