WAMSLEY, Stuart M., 90, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 in Broken Arrow, OK. Born March 10, 1926 in Minco, OK to John Elmer and Vi (Guthery) Wamsley.
He was a member of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, Tulsa, OK. He married Jean (Cleveland) Wamsley on February 28, 1959 in Tulsa, OK. He graduated from Oklahoma A&M with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He retired in 1987 from Explorer Pipeline Company as Chief Project Engineer. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in WWII and the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean of the home; two daughters, Linda (Karl) Wamsley Burns, and Sheri (Marc) Wamsley Nellis; son, Cleve Wamsley; six grandchildren, Sara (Curtis) Lambert, Blake Burns, Eric Burns, Laura Burns, Nicole Nellis, DDS, and Michelle (Michael) Nellis Oxford; three great-grandchildren, Owen Lambert, Chandler Lambert, and Margot Oxford; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the TV Ministry of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church.
Memorial service will be 2:30 P.M., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Boston Ave. United Methodist-Rose Chapel, 1301 S. Boston Ave., Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
