Marylyn "Sue" Lower, 81, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Tulsa, OK after a long battle with interstitial lung disease. She was born on August 3, 1936 in Ashland, Missouri to Spencer and Naomi Nichols, and they moved to Tulsa when Sue was 14 years old, where she lived the remainder of her life. She married her husband Gene in 1955 and they were together for 62 years.

Sue had a career as an Administrative Assistant in the Oil and Gas Industry in Tulsa. She was a very detail-oriented person, and when she retired at the age of 62, the business world last a most dedicated employee. She was also a loving, devoted Mother of two children, always putting her family first before anything else. She was a great cook and a very kind and generous person to everyone she met. Her hobbies included reading, watching movies, cross-stitching and knitting. She enjoyed traveling and occasionally visiting her relatives in Missouri.

Preceded in death by her parents and brother Eugene Nichols, Sue is survived by her husband, Eugene Lower; one daughter Dayna McCurdy and son-in-law Joe McCurdy; one son Stephen Lower and daughter-in-law Nancy Horstmann Lower; one sister Donna Nichols Thomas and brother-in-law Albert "Hoppy" Thomas; 4 grandchildren: Connor and Taylor Henson; Jason Lower and Stephani Lower Lowe; 2 great grandchildren: Braylan and Grayson Lowe.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 from 5-7pm at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Funeral service will be 2pm, Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. 918-663-2233
