Katherine Sue Vasicek, 81, of Tulsa, OK was born August 11, 1939 to Guy and Edith Dill near Wesley, AR and passed away Friday, February 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Vance of Tulsa, step-daughter Shelley Sunday (Bret) of Tulsa, son Terry (Lisa) of Broken Arrow, son Dennis (Julie) of Broken Arrow, son Mark (Jennifer) of Broken Arrow, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one brother, Jerry Dill of Jonesville, LA, and many other relatives and friends.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Sue was raised in Thorney, Arkansas and graduated from Huntsville High School in 1957. Upon completing high school, the family moved to Fayetteville in order for her to attend the University of Arkansas where she graduated in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After graduating, she took a job and moved to Tulsa. Not long after moving to Tulsa, her cousin, Russell Ward, introduced her to the love of her life, Vance, and they were married in December 1962.

When her children transitioned to junior high school, Sue re-joined the work force as a bookkeeper. Later, she operated her own company, Sue's Tax Service.

Sue was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She had care and compassion for others and mailed greeting cards to friends and family on a weekly, almost daily basis. She was fun loving and enjoyed playing cards and games, but being with family brought her the most joy. She was an avid bowler and was a member of several bowling leagues. She loved adventure and rode her bicycle in many annual Freewheel cross-state bicycle tours. But most importantly, she was a faithful Christian throughout her life from a young age and was a member of the 10th & Rockford Church of Christ from the time she moved to Tulsa. She will be dearly missed but comfort is found in the assurance of her eternal home in Heaven.

Viewing will be 10:00AM - 8:00PM, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 with family visitation from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at Moore Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be 2:00PM, Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 10th & Rockford Church of Christ, 829 S Rockford Ave, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Interment 12:00PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Elkins, Arkansas.
