With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Suell David Turner, who left us on January 19, 2025, at age 94. He was born on August 15, 1930, to Lawrence Turner and Harriet Grimm Turner in Wagoner, Oklahoma.

In his professional life, he worked in the oil and gas industry as a landman and continued participating in drilling up until his death.

Suell had a fantastic sense of humor, quick wit, an arsenal of unique phases, and a knack for making people laugh. He had more friends than you could count and cherished every one of them. He had a curious mind and was always interested in others.

He is survived by brother Michael Turner, daughter Deborah Turner, grandson Cody Monard, granddaughter Joanna Monard, and many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed, but his light will continue to shine in stories and memories, especially his one-of-a-kind phrases and nicknames he coined. He was truly unique.
