FRYE, Susan Carol, 73, resident of Tulsa, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in Tulsa, OK. Born September 29, 1949, in Oklahoma City, OK. She graduated from Tulsa Nathan Hale and then Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Robert Frye and her only child, Grant Randall Frye. She is survived by her two brothers, Mark Basore, and wife Mary Ann Ault Basore of Tulsa, OK and William T. (Bill) Basore, and wife Debra Doty Basore of Cave Creek, AZ, daughter-in-law, Amber Webb Frye and granddaughter Sara Frye, both of Owasso, OK.

Susan enjoyed art and gardening. She retired from the Department of Human Services, State of Oklahoma, with cases ranging from infant to senior services. After retiring, she accepted a position in the Occidental Petroleum office in Tulsa, where she was an HR Benefits Specialist.

The Celebration of Life will be at the Tulsa Botanic Garden, 3900 Tulsa Botanic Drive, Tulsa, OK 74127 from 1:00mPM to 3:00PM on Saturday, October 14th.
