Services for Susan Kay Gniech, 75 of Chelsea will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 14th at Bethany Church with Pastor Randy Wilson officiating.
She died Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 in her home in Chelsea.
Susan was born October 16,1949 in Yale, Oklahoma to Betty Virginia Bingaman Pate and to Richard Jo Pate.
She married Roland Dean Gniech on September 6, 1968. 53 years together here on earth.
Susan worked in pediatric medicine for 27 years.
She and Roland later moved from midtown Tulsa to Chelsea in order to enjoy their retirement years doing what they loved. They loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and their grandkids.
Susan is survived by one step sister, Mrs. Calvin (Dorothy) Beemes of Ardmore.
Susan is also survived by her 3 children; Mrs. James (Nichole) Farmer of Chelsea. Colby Gniech and his wife Camille of Broken Arrow and Dustin Gniech and his wife Michelle of Tulsa, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Gniech, both parents, her sister, Betty Jo Scholten Kinkade, step sister Betty Turner, brothers, Rick J. Pate, Steve S. Pate, and step brother, Johnny Knight.
She will be laid to rest in Lawson Cemetery in Yale, Oklahoma with her husband, Roland.
