Susan Louise Parnell Gregory passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, September 26.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Parnell. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Carl Gregory, a daughter, Lauren Steiner and grandson, Gavin, of Tulsa and a sister, Patricia McAnear of Corpus Christi, TX.

A long-time resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Susan was born on January 6, 1953 in Shreveport, LA. After moving to Somerdale, NJ in fourth grade, she graduated from Highland Regional High School in Blackwood, NJ in 1970. After two years at Glassboro State College, she transferred to the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. Shortly thereafter she married Carl E. Gregory in September of her senior year and graduated with a degree in English Literature in 1974. Following graduation, she worked at Cities Service Oil Company in Tulsa in the credit card services department. Susan and Carl welcomed a daughter, Lauren Marisa, in March, 1979. Before her death she was a long serving employee of the Bank of Oklahoma, working in Credit Services as well as training new employees.

She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother who enjoyed quilting, sewing and decorating for the holidays. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral Services will be held at Memorial Park Chapel, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 10AM. Viewing will be Monday, October 1, between the hours of 4 and 7PM at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
