Susan Preston Hodgson "Hootie" born July 18, 1941, died August 29, 2018. Survived by loving daughter, Stacy (Vince) and loving son, Jim (Shawna). Also survived by grandchildren Chloe, Clara, Connor, Gavin, Gracie and Ethan.
Susan had many wonderful and supportive friends who cared for her during her recent health challenges the past couple of years. Susan spent many years as an elementary school teacher with Tulsa Public Schools, retiring in 2002. She enjoyed her retirement years spending time in book club, painting group, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, in addition to attending Town Hall and visiting her grandchildren.
