Susan left this earth on November 17, 2022.
She was born on June 29, 1926, in Tulsa, Ok. Susan graduated from Central High School, attended Stephens College and graduated from University of Tulsa with a major in English and minor in Religion.
She married Robert L. Rorschach in 1947. They lived in Boston, Salt Lake City, and Pryor before coming home to Tulsa. They were members of Yale Avenue Christian Church for a few years before returning to First Christian Church, Tulsa, where both of their parents were active members.
Susan was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Blanche Sample; infant sister, Phyllis Gayle; and husband, Bob. She is survived by her sister, Mary Carolyn (Whitaker) Lengacher; sons, Robert F. Rorschach (Jeanne) and Thomas D. Rorschach (Leigh); daughters, Molly Krumme, Betsy, Barbara and Janet Rorschach; and niece, Su Whitaker Hill (Stan). Five grandchildren: Carolyn Krumme Calderon (Erik), Jay Krumme (Dayna), Katherine Rorschach Savitt (David), Louisa Rorschach and Daniel Rorschach. Five great-grandchildren: Bradley and Claire Krumme, Gemma and Ella Calderon and Emilia Savitt.
Susan's long life was blessed with loving parents, six children, and husband Bob whose wonderful sense of humor carried them through 72 years of marriage.
Family graveside service. Memorial service to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests any memorial donations be made to Tulsa Opera, Tulsa Symphony or your favorite charity.
