Obituary
Mrs. Susan "Sue" Augusta Skaggs, 81, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 1977, at Skyline Nursing Home, Tulsa, OK, of a heart attack. She was born on Friday, April 17, 1896, in Harper County, KS, to William Jones and Delilah J. (Givens) Jones. Sue married Willie Alvin Skaggs in 1939, and was retired from working in a laundry. She is survived by her daughter, Lila Faye Buxton of Tulsa, OK; brother, Walter Jones of Texas; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband (died in 1964); and parents.
