Susan (Sue) Ann Spencer, much loved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, passed away on June 25, 2021 at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa with her family at her bedside. She was born to Cleburne and Verna Ross on June 5, 1956. She attended Webster High School and later married and had 3 children. Sue was a loving and caring person with a very big heart. She always put everyone else before herself. She spent her early years being a homemaker and making sure that the kids were always at ball or cheerleading practice. She loved attending all the games with her children and then when she became a grandparent and then a great-grandparent. She had a very special bond with her entire family that will never be broken. She moved into Lucille Page to spend her retirement years and met lots of friends. She enjoyed playing dominoes with the domino group at the community center there at Lucille Page and of course shopping for jewelry and clothes. Sue was always trying to make people laugh by being goofy or playing tricks on them. Although we will miss her very much we know that she is no longer in pain and in a much better place.
Sue is preceded in death by her mother Verna Ross and sister Carolyn Ross.
She is survived by her father Cleburne Ross of Wagoner, OK. Daughter Cindy Tanyan and husband John Tanyan of Tulsa, OK; her son Gary Spencer and girlfriend Darla of Glenpool, OK; and son Billy Spencer and girlfriend Stephanie of Sand Springs, OK. Grandchildren Brandon and wife SkiAnn, Alexis and girlfriend Mikayla, Michael and girlfriend Rose, Jessalyn, Kanin, Nathaniel, Danica, Sadie, Ashlyn and Caden. Great-grandchildren Khloe, Daniel, Braylen and Bentley. Sisters Linda Spencer of Tulsa, OK and Sandy Fidler of Wagoner, OK. Brother Randall Ross of Wagoner,OK and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held for Sue on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 2 PM at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E 51st Street, Tulsa OK 74145.
