Sylvia Delma Gibson, 77, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. She was born August 13, 1938 in Teresita, OK to Delbert and Ruby (Thompson) Cox and was a member of Parkview Baptist Church-Tulsa. She was a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Lloyd Cox, Arthur Glen Cox, Eldean Timms, and Kenneth George. Survived by her husband, Bob Gibson of the home; son, Keith Gibson (Juanita) of Stilwell, OK; daughters, Karen Scherado (Wayne) of Hulbert, OK, and Sharon Gibson of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Tiffany Scherado of Glenpool, OK, Stephanie Cervantes (Gustavo) of Homested, FL, Natalie Meador (Ryan) of Broken Arrow, OK, Valerie Wilson (Brian) of Bixby, OK, Brian Garner (Erin) of Visalia, CA, Jonathan Gibson (Jessica) of Pensacola, FL, and Sarah Gibson of Glenpool, OK; great-grandchildren, Akaida, Zayne, Maci, Mason, Nathan, Jace and Lilia; sister, Reba Brown (Glenn) of Oologah, OK.
Service will be 3:30 P.M., Friday, September 11, 2015 at First Baptist Church-Jenks.
Family suggests contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
