Obituary

Talmadge Lee Cook, 58, of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away Sunday, July 17, 1977, St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK. He was born on Wednesday, November 28, 1917, in Casar, NC, to Fonzo F. Cook and Winnie F. (Hunt) Cook. Talmadge was an interior decorator, prominent in race car circles, and a CB radio operator. He was married to Lois (Bohannon) Cook, and proud to have served as a Private First Class in the United States Army in WWII. Talmadge is survived by his wife, Lois, of the home; son, Lee Cook of Broken Arrow, OK; granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn; sister, Mrs. D. D. (Lallage) Dandurant; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Talmadge will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
