Mr, Terrell Covington, 90, of Muskogee, OK, died March 29 in a Tulsa, OK, hospital.
Mr. Covington was a native of Florence, S. C., and a former resident of Pensacola. He graduated from a Pensacola high school. He majored in business and finance at the University of Georgia, where he was as member of Kappa Alpha social fraternity.
In 1929, Covington moved to Muskogee, OK, where he was associated with Iron Works. He joined the Commercial Bank & Trust Company's bookkeeping department in 1938, and retired in 1960. He was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for 20 years.
Survivors include two sons, John D. Covington of Joplin, MO, and Dr. Terrell Covington of Tulsa, OK; 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were 2 a.m., April 1, in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Woods, officiating.
Burial was in the Greenhill Cemetery, Muskogee, OK, with Bradley Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were Hovis Holiday, William H. Pool, Ed Edmondson, Morto Woods, Dr. Ted Hine, and Robert S. Forrest.
