Obituary
On Wednesday July 7, 2021 at 6:00am Terrie Louise Atchison went home to be with our Lord at the age of 68. Terrie was born in Brampton Ontario Canada, to Charles and Marilou Richards.
Terrie graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1971. After graduating she received her nursing certificate in 1976. In 1988 Terrie went on to receive her degree as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Terrie worked for St. Francis Hospital and other intensive care Neonatal units for 44 years
On February 4th, 2000 she married Jerry Don Atchison, together they raised 3 sons. Tyler Lee Pack, Jake Atchison, and Zane Atchison.
Terrie a had passion for our Lord Jesus Christ, her bible study groups, antiques, singing, and decorating her home with beautiful Victorian antiques and art. She enjoyed entertaining for family and friends decorating with her amazing collections for Halloween, Christmas, Victorian Tea Parties and special dinners for friends, it was always an event to all that attended. Terrie loved all types of music. Opera, Classical, Christian and The oldies. She also sang in the Joy Community Choir. Terrie was recognized for her quick wit, infectious smile and her kind and compassionate spirit.
Terrie adopted and supported kitties and puppies from many rescue groups. She loved her cats and dog with all of her heart, taking daily visits to the Tulsa Dog Parks.
Terrie was known for her love of our Lord Jesus Christ, she donated generously to ministries and her home church.
Terrie was preceded in death by her parents Marilou and Charles Richards and her brother Billy Richards. She is survived by her husband Jerry Atchison, their three children, Tyler Pack, Jake Atchison, and Zane Atchison. Her sister Charlotte Bates and her husband Bob Bates, her brother Ricky Wes Richards and his wife Nancy Richards, Nephew Travis Richards, Treavor and Loretta Richards their three children Ferrial, Travis Tyler, and Daphne, also her 95 year old Aunt Dixey Stafford
Monday July 12th 12-8pm viewing with family visitation 4-6pm Moore Funeral Home 9350 E 51st St., Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be, 11am, Tuesday July 13th at Life Church, 7071 East 121st St S, Bixby, OK.
