Terry Sue Donaghue, 69 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016. She was born June 16, 1946 in Magnolia, Arkansas, a daughter of Thomas Clifton Ford and Martha Sue Franks Ford.
Terry Sue was the oldest of four sisters. She was a wife and mother, who cared tirelessly for her family. She became a surrogate mother to many of her children's friends. She worked at her church's food pantry ministering to needy families, taught children to read, and in the last few years volunteered as the Auxiliary Commander for Disabled American Veterans Chapter 32. Everyday she lived her faith in God by giving of her life to others.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, John Donaghue; two sons, John Joseph Donaghue and Fiancee Jamie Klein of Woodinville, Washington and Clifton Anthony Donaghue of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Allison Privrat and husband John of Edmond, Oklahoma; three sisters, Shirley Wigand of Little Rock, Arkansas, Amy Lynne Ford of Little Rock, Arkansas and Carla Price and husband Elmer of Mulberry, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Timothy, Emily and Ashley Privrat; one nephew, Patrick Pierce and one Niece, Wrona Pierce.
Viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Magnolia, Arkansas with burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Magnolia, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to DAV Chapter 32, 313 E. Pine Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74110.
Services are under the care of Moore Funeral Home, Southlawn Chapel
