Terry Lee Mills, age 84, passed away on September 23, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on December 17, 1938, in Joplin, Missouri. Terry was a devoted family man and was known for his commitment to service.

Terry leaves behind many beloved family members including his wife, Louella Inglis Mills; two sons, Terry Lee Jr. (Dianna) Mills and Andrew (Audra) Mills of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and two step-children Jason (Silvia) Inglis of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Krista (Peter) Svach of Wheaton, Illinois. He was the proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren: Matthew, Mark, and Micah Mills; Kyden, Caleb, Evan, and Elijah Mills; Kaiya Inglis; and William, Ella, and Ben Svach. Terry is also survived by his sister, Paula (Buzz) Bartlett, of Denton, Texas. Terry's memory will forever be treasured by his family.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents Henry and June Mills, and his first wife Catherine Holloway Mills.

Terry attended the Missouri School of Mines in Rolla and later served as a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army 101st Airborne at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, from 1961 to 1963.

After his military service, Terry had a successful career as an investor, stockbroker, and financial planning professional, spanning over 50 years.

Terry loved spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow. He was very intentional and attended their activities at every opportunity as one of their biggest fans and supporters. An avid reader, Terry found joy in various hobbies including scuba diving, camping, hiking, and Scouting. These activities allowed him to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of the world around him.

Terry's faith was an integral part of his life. He was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church and later Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church, Tulsa. His spiritual journey brought him solace and strength, and he valued the fellowship and community of fellow members.

Terry Lee Mills will be remembered as a kind, service-oriented family man and a dedicated professional. His memory will continue to inspire and touch the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace in the arms of our Lord.

A memorial service to honor and remember Terry's life will be held on October 14, 2023, at 11:00 am at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Tulsa, OK. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church or Troop 26, Boy Scouts of America, as a tribute to Terry's legacy of service.
