Thomas William Bennefield (Tom) passed away on January 7, 2025, after a long tough battle with cancer. He was born January 4, 1952, in Bartlesville, OK as the youngest child of William Cecil Bennefield and Lottie Faye (Flake) Bennefield. He grew up in and around Ramona, OK graduating from Ramona-Ochelata High School in 1970. He worked for the Examiner-Enterprise after high school. He later attended Tulsa Junior College studying Chemistry. He later moved to Tulsa and worked in Paint Manufacturing for Devoe Paint, Service Paint, Molene Paint and finally joined Anchor Paint where he worked until retirement. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling to see family and friends and playing as much golf as possible. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Faye Bennefield, brother-in-law Gene Watson and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his sister Joyce Watson of Norman, OK, Niece Gayla Rocco of McKinney, TX, Niece Cindy Keever and husband Ken of Norman, OK, Great-Nephews Watson Rocco of Springdale, AR, Bennett Rocco of Fayetteville, AR, Jordyn "JoJo" Keever of Norman, OK and countless cousins and friends. The viewing will be Saturday, January 18 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with services following at Moore Funeral Home Rosewood Chapel, 2570 S. Harvard Ave, Tulsa. Graveside service will be held at the Ramona Cemetery following the services.
