Thomas H. Gilbert, DDS passed away at home on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the age of 81. He was the husband of Mary Kathryn Gilbert. They shared 14 years together.

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he was the son of Thomas H. Gilbert Sr. and Julia Pauline Gilbert. He graduated from Westminster College with a degree in biology. Then went to Washington College to pursue a Doctorate in Dentistry. Thomas was a captain in the United States Army. He owned Thomas Gilbert DDS, Dentistry for Children, where he worked as a Pediatric Dentist.

He belonged to Tulsa Men's Group and Tulsa County Dental Association. He enjoying going to Grand Lake, fishing, OU football, traveling, scuba diving and his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his jokes, kind heart and bbq!

He is survived by his wife, Mary Kathryn: children, Thomas H. Gilbert III, Julia Elizabeth Cox, Daniel James Harding, Michael Knapp Harding, Matthew Alan Harding, Megan Elizabeth (Weston Thomas) Adams. Thomas adored his 13 grandchildren and his yellow Labrador Retriever, Boomer.

The celebration of life will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 at 2:00pm at Moore Funeral Home Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st Street Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145.
