Thomas Bruun Larsen (aka the Great Dane) died on July 1, 2016 after a long illness.
Thomas was born in Denmark on November 21, 1967 to Carsten and Bodil Larsen. He was a graduate of the Marie Kruse Skole (High School). He earned an MIS degree from the Copenhagen Business School. In 1999; he graduated with an M.B.A. from Oklahoma City University. Thomas immigrated to the U.S. in early 90s and became a U.S. citizen in 2008. He had worked as a software engineer for the majority of his career.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Marcia; two sister in-laws, Leanne and Robin; his mother, Bodil and brother Henrik; two cousins Marlene and Jesper; and five nieces, Nicole, Lindsey, Stephanie, Jennifer and Elizabeth.
Thomas loved traveling, poker, American football and politics. He adored his chocolate labs Maya and Roxy.
Friends may honor Thomas' memory with contributions to MD Anderson's Moon Shots program, Saint Francis Hospital or a charity of their choice.
