Thomas Michael Lowery passed away May 25, 2017. He was born September 18, 1941 in Tulsa. Thomas, known as "Mike", graduated from Edison High School and Tulsa University with a major in Business. Later, after his military service, Mike went back to TU and received a Master's Degree in Modern Letters. He published a book of poetry in 1979 entitled Masks of the Dreamer.

Mike was in ROTC during his undergraduate years at TU and served in the Air Force from 1963 to 1968. His last assignment was as Commander of a Minuteman Missile crew at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. After the military, Mike spent 30 years with State Farm Insurance. The last 15 years he was the Auto Fraud Investigator in Tulsa and retired from State Farm in 2007.

Mike is survived by his wife Charla, his son Thomas Michael Lowery Il, daughter-in-law Natasha Ruth, and four grandchildren Caroline Elizabeth, John Phillip, Anna Catherine and Nicholas Alexander. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 29 years, Billie Joyce Evans Lowery, who was the mother of his son, and his parents, Thomas Wayne and Alice Lowery.

The Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 9, at 10:00 AM at Unity Center of Tulsa, 1830 S. Boston Ave. There will be a car processional to the gravesite at Memorial Park Cemetery, 51rst and Memorial, for the Graveside Service with Military Honors at 12:00 PM.
