Thomas Ike "Tommy" Nelson, 97, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Tommy is preceded by his parents, Issac and Susie Ann (Evans) Nelson; wife, Blanche Peace Nelson and wife, Senora Carr Nelson; grandson, Jimmy Nelson. He is survived by sons, Jim and Roberta Nelson of Texas and Ed and Claudia Nelson of Oklahoma; daughter, Susan (Nelson) and Tim Rosson of Alabama; grandchildren, Timothy Edward Rosson II, David Thomas Rosson, Chris Nelson and Jerri Nelson Carpinteyr; nine great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Tommy was born in Alluwe, OK on August 16, 1923 to Issac and Susie Nelson. After graduating High School, he went on to serve his country in the Army. He went on to marry Blanche Nelson, have three amazing children; Jim, Ed and Susan. After Blanche passed away, he later married Senor Nelson.

He had a passion for working with concrete. He went on to be a CEO of Manufacturing in the concrete industry. Tommy was a firm believer in hard day's work. Never shying away from a new obstacle or a new puzzle to figure out. He was not just an all work kind of guy he was also played hard. Never shying away from a great day at the beach or lake working on his suntan, a good steak dinner sans sour cream, an OU game and doing all with a tasty beverage.

Tommy never met a stranger with a giving soul. He loved helping people anonymously. He Truly Loved Live.

Tommy always did it his way!
