Tom Johnson's memorial service will be Monday, February 24th at 10:00 am in the worship center at South Tulsa Baptist church.
Tom left this earth unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 18th at the age of 67 to join his family members that have gone before and were waiting to welcome him along with his favorite dog, "Stink."
Tom was born on October 24th, 1952, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico while his dad, who was in the Air Force, was stationed there.
The family settled in Lee's Summit, Missouri, where Tom graduated from high school where he excelled in track and field, football, and baseball. Tom met Cyndee, his wife of 37 years, while working at Trico. They have 2 daughters, Taylor and Kaycee.
Tom had a strong work ethic and believed in taking care and providing for his family. He always put them first. He worked in the transportation industry until retirement.
Since he was a small child he has loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and just being outside listening to nature.
He was a man of unbelievable knowledge about nature and he loved to share it.
He loved baseball and the Kansas City Chiefs. He waited 50 years for them to win the Super Bowl! Go Chiefs!!
He is survived by his wife Cyndee, daughters Taylor and Kaycee, brother David and sister Pat and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation P.O. Box 53465 Oklahoma City Ok. 73152 in Tom's name.
