Thomas Duff Taylor "Tom", child of the Most High, polyglot, writer, electronics-enthusiast, nurse and truth-activist, 84, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born to Judge Eben Lavert and Jane Mehiya (Hartshorne) Taylor on June 1, 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In addition to his beloved hometown of Tulsa, he was also honored to be a longtime Poteau (Gilmore) resident.
Thomas was honored by his European and Native American heritages, and spoke German, French, Arabic, Spanish, and Russian fluently, which aided him in his activism work. His essay appearing in the regional paper contrasting the good works of Jesus with the neocon movement was an accomplishment (one of many) cherished by him and others.
Thomas is survived by his daughter: Nadine Taylor Morris; grandchildren: Grayson Thomas Morris, Lali (Elysia) Jane Morris and Reinhardt Robert Bashar Morris.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Kelly Taylor, Adrienne Hanna, and Duff Taylor, and his great-nephews and great-nieces; cousin Mary Anne Holcolmb; and ex-wife and friend Mirella Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Infant Boy Taylor and Robert Cleveland Taylor, his Aunt Mary, and nephew David Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, Thomas would appreciate donations to Plant an Olive Tree for Palestine:
