Thomas "Bud" Yeakey, 80, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Sunday, December 11, 1977. He was born in Tolu, KY, on Friday, October 1, 1897, to Otto Pascal Yeakey and Ella (Franklin) Yeakey. Bud has made Tulsa his home since 1937, when he moved from Sikeston, MO, and was a retired accountant with Sun Oil Company. He is survived by his wife, Ada C. (Summers) Yeakey; 3 sons, O. C. Yeakey of Nashville, TN, Thomas M. Yeakey of Houston, TX, and Bill S. Yeakey, Sr. of Tulsa, OK; 2 daughters, Ada Jean Hough of Dallas, TX, and Barbara Wigham of Ft. Wayne, IN; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bud will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
