Timothy M. Estes, age 53, of Broken Arrow, went home to be with Jesus his Lord and Savior February 16, 2017.
Tim was born in Monroe, MI, February 28, 1963, to John and Nancy (Denman) Estes. On August 12, 1989, Tim married his best friend and love of his life Carla Wells in Big Rapids, MI. In the years to follow they were blessed with three children: Joshua, Hannah and Mikayla Estes.
In addition to his parents, wife and children Tim is survived by his brother Dan Estes and his wife Carla, brother Brian Estes and his wife Marla and his sister Lisa McCoy and her husband Tom; his in-laws Gary and Ruth Ann Wells; several nieces and nephews.
In March of 2001 Tim moved his family to Broken Arrow, OK, to attend Rhema Bible Training Center.
Tim worked nearly thirty years in the car business. His last 11 years he spent at Lexus of Tulsa as a Master Certified sales and leasing consultant. He considered himself a "problem solver" by nature. Tim did not try to sell people a car; he would find out their need and then appropriately match them to a car. He enjoyed serving people.
While living in Michigan Tim was an avid snowmobiler and enjoyed buying and selling them as well. After moving to Oklahoma his interest changed to buying and selling computers. Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and had taken up hiking with his children the last couple years. Plans to hike in Colorado, one of the few states his adventures had not led to, intend to be upheld by his family.
Tim's love of family fell short only to that of his Lord. He sought after Jesus everyday in his walk, and desired to serve people as best he could.
A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, February 21st at 1:00 p.m. It will be held at Moore Funeral Home Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E 51st, Tulsa, OK.
