Ret. Lt. Col. Thomas Lee Page, age 65, left this world on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Tom spent his last days at the beautiful, peaceful Clarehouse Hospice.
Tom was born in Cisco, Texas, April 26, 1952 to Katherine Edna Froese and Guy Thomas Page. He grew up in Muskogee, OK where he made life long friends. Tom graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1975 with a degree in accounting. While in college Tom was a member of the Oklahoma National Guard. He transitioned into the Army and then retired from the Army Reserve in 2012.
Tom had a love for traveling, and being in the Army definitely gave him that opportunity. He was stationed in several different states in the US and overseas in Germany. He also got to do some training in Egypt. One of the highlights of his Army career was learning to fly Cobra helicopters at Ft. Rucker, AL in 1978 and 1979. Tom served for over 30 years.
Tom had a passion for sailing and joined the Hobie Fleet 25 in 1996, when he began sailing and racing catamaran sailboats. This is also where he met his wife Nancy. Together they sailed and raced their boat on beautiful waters in and around the US. When their sailing days slowed down they took cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska.
Tom is survived by his wife Nancy; his daughters from his previous marriage, Jennifer and husband Randy Rampey of Tulsa, and Kimberly and husband Jeffrey Richardson of Tulsa; his step daughter, Tifanie Lynn; his grandchildren Zachary, Zoe and KayDee Rampey and Nicolaus Lynn; brother Jim Page and wife Nancy of Inola and their children Charity and Calen; also many cousins and other family members; and his sailing family.
Tom retired from Hilti in 2013 as a member of their sales team. His amazing skills at arguing and persuading people paid off as he was one of their highest grossing salesmen.
