Tommy Arthur Evans, 40, of Tulsa, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, after an unexpected yet brave battle with cancer. Tommy was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1980, in Tulsa, OK, to Tom and Liz (Meyer) Evans. He was a life-long learner, proudly attending Booker T. Washington High School, the University of Oklahoma, and Tulsa Community College, over the years. He recently worked for St. Francis Hospital as a medical lab tech, and previously for Sodexo at the University of Tulsa. He was a very proud Citizen Potawatomi. He loved to cook, appreciated a variety of music, and was a talented drummer. Some favorite downtime for Tommy was simply spending time with friends, or cheering on OU or TU football. Tommy could be described as often quiet, but incredibly funny, amazingly intelligent, and willing to help where he was needed. Tommy is survived by his parents Tom and Liz Evans, of Tulsa, sister Beth Taylor of Tulsa, and nephews Trenton Flanagan, Garrett Taylor, Jackson Taylor; plus, many cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by all his grandparents, an uncle and aunt, an infant cousin, and his beloved dog, Zoe.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 10am at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Treatment or an Animal Rescue organization of your choice.
