Obituary
Tommy Ray Evans was born September 10, 1952, in Bristow, Oklahoma. Tom passed away peacefully at home in Tulsa on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at the age of 71.
After growing up in Bristow, Tom served in the Air Force, where he met and married Liz in 1975. Through the years of school, work, and into retirement, Tom enjoyed great food, playing guitar, staying active, and supporting the Oklahoma Sooners. Tom was proud of his Citizen Potawatomi heritage and appreciated family memories and connections.
Tom is survived by his wife Liz (Meyer) Evans, daughter Beth Taylor and grandsons Trenton
(Flanagan), Garrett, and Jackson of Tulsa, brother Terry Evans of Bristow, and many other beloved nieces, nephews, sisters-in law, brothers-in law, cousins, and more. He is preceded in death by his son Tommy, brother Ted, and parents.
Per Tom's request, no memorial service will be offered.
