Tommy Ann Reneau was born July 15, 1936, in Beaumont, Texas to Thomas and Grace Hall. She departed life on February 3, 2013 in Tulsa at the age 76. Ann was best and widely known as a caring, dedicated, and giving mother and teacher throughout her life.
After graduating Denton High School in Denton, Texas, she attended North Texas State University and gained her degree in education. Following graduation she taught elementary school in Deer Park, Texas. It was there that she met and married her husband, Jim Reneau.
Ann and Jim and their two children came to Tulsa in 1969. After raising their children, she returned to teaching elementary school, eventually retiring from Tulsa Public Schools. She was a long time member of Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church.
Ann is survived by her brother, John Hall of Alvin, Texas; son Chris Reneau of Lindale, Texas; daughter Leslie Sullivan-Warren of Tulsa; and grandchildren Cole and Hannah.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 49 years.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 8 at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in the Chapel.
