Obituary

Tracey Lynn Fields passed away on March 4, 2016 after a short but valiant battle against colon cancer. She was a resident of Bixby, Oklahoma.

Tracey was born September 30, 1966 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She married Steve Fields, Sr on August 10, 1984 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They have two sons, Steven Fields, Jr, his wife Barbara, and precious granddaughter Jocelyn, who live in Las Vegas, NV, and Todd Fields and his wife Lindsee', who live in Broken Arrow, OK.

She is also survived by her parents, Tom and Randa Baddley of Tulsa, her brother Tom Baddley, sister Tina Fridrich, both of Tulsa, and sister Melissa Zumwalt of Owasso, and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Tracey was always in a hurry to get to the next thing. She came into this world prematurely and went out prematurely.

Tracey grew up in Brandon, Mississippi, moving to Tulsa in 1980. She was a graduate of Union High School in Tulsa, and received her RN degree from Tulsa Community College in 1990. She was a pediatric nurse at Children's Clinic of Owasso from 2002-2011. Always seeking to be her best, she returned to school, and completed her BSN at Oklahoma City University in 2010 and her Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of South Alabama in 2012. She returned to the Children's Clinic of Owasso as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from 2013-2015.

Growing up as a PK (preacher's kid) she gave her life to Christ as a young child and her faith showed through her entire life. She and Steve were active members at First Baptist Church of Tulsa where they started and led a Sunday School class of all ages and backgrounds. In 2014, Tracey went on a medical mission trip to Guatemala using her medical skills to help children in need of care.

Tracey and Steve loved to be together, whether alone at home, entertaining family and friends, traveling together, enjoying time on the lake, traveling to support their sons as they played baseball, or just trying new things in the kitchen.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Tulsa,10:00 A.M., March 8, 2016. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tracey's name to the First Baptist Church Tulsa Caring Center.
